1976buick
I was once told that when Buick put out the 75-76 Park Ave the car was "killed" by GM. Apparently it took away too much from the Caddy sales.Being the owner of a 76 Park Ave I have to say that the Buick really did outdo Cadillac back then. But I have never come across an article which made any mention of this.If any of you has please let me know, I'd love to see it.Thanks
Guest my3buicks
This theory has been said about many Buicks thru-out history - every so often Buick would get it's hands smacked for becoming a threat to Cadillac.
The Old Guy
Cadillac was upset in 1941 , when Buick came out with the compound carbs, and actually made more HP then the Caddy. The numbers were "adjusted" so Cadillac was still the "Premium" GM marque
