A roadster had a collapsible fabric roof, like a convertible only the doors had no glass windows. Instead, roadsters (and tourers and phaetons) had removable windows. In the days before plastics they were made of issing (sp?) glass. Your "3-window coupe" differs form a "5-window coupe" in that there are no side windows in the panel behind the doors. Total production of the 1931 CI 3-window rumble seat coupe came to 2,913 units. An additional 345 units were built as business coupes, like your but without the rumble seat.BillVancouver, BC
