Guest
here's a warning for any of you in the l.a. area. i took my car to this dealer to look at the camshaft sensor and abs. after 8 full days, i am picking up the car with no repairs made. every day they told me theyd call me back and never did. finally i told them to forget it and i will pick it up. no way in he** am i paying for an estimate either. just wanted you all to know about this. plus wanted to vent. just for ammo when i go in there. is there any reason the whole camshaft would have to be removed? from what i read on my previous post, at most the magnet has to be replaced.thanks everyone. harry yarnell
You're right, the cam doesn't have to be removed. Somebody doesn't know what they're doing. Do a search to find tech tip on replacing the cam sensor magnet.
reattadudes
just a suggestion here: give the folks at Dyerness Automotive a call. don't have their number, but they are located at 425 South Central Avenue in Glendale. they seem like a really reputable shop, and they have purchased a lot of parts from us. they are also Reatta owners, too. ask for James, and tell them we sent you.Mike, buickreattaparts.com
