Guest imported_DaveZZZ
Can anyone make any suggestions?I need to replace the "rubbing strip" that goes inside the door and rubs against the window as it goes up and down. I don't know what this is called or who might have it. I think some people have called them whiskers. The car is a 67 Olds 98 convertible. Power windows. It doesn't appear that the rear windows have these at all.Any suggestions?ThanksDave
Oldsfan
You're talking about the belt line weatherstrips? Some people call them sweepers or whiskers. There's an inner and an outer. The inners are the furry ones and are attached to the top of the interior door panels. The outer ones are rubber and are attached to the top of the outer door shell. These pieces should also be on the 1/4 panel for the 1/4 windows. Try Fusick.Paul
Guest imported_DaveZZZ
Thanks a lot.Fusick had the front outers, which are the really bad ones on my car.I should try to find the others, but I guess one thing at a time.-Dave
