Back in 1987 Bill Elliot did very well in NASCAR races. Also he set a record of 212 mph for the fastest lap which still stands. (After that NASCAR made restrictor plates mandatory.These TBirds are very good drivers especially with the 5.0 v8. Very good gas mileage for the time.
