  1. Glenn - I know that NAPA Auto sells caps points and condensers for the Delco distributor for a 1937 Super Eight. They might also sell parts for an Autolite as well. You''ll have to find a NAPA store (an old store) with the old paper catalogs to have them look for the part numbers. It won't be in the computer.
  2. Does anyone know where I can get a 1937 Packard Super Eight Rear Brake Drum in good condition? The mechanic who replaced my rear wheel cylinder saw that the tabs on the drum hub were loose and so he welded the hub - but didn't ensure that the hub was truly on-center before welding. Now, my brake drum is off-center and I have a vibration. I need one good rear brake drum. According to the Packard Parts Book, the part number is 234734, and this part is found on the following 1937 Super Eight Models: 1500, 1501, and 1502 -- AND -- on the following 1938 Super Eight Models: 1603, 1604, and 1605. Note: The Super Eight brake drums are not the same as the twelve cylinder brake drums. Also, the front drums are different from the rear drums on all of these cars. Thanks in advance for anyone who might be able to help out!
