  1. Just picked up a nice, local, original ‘72 Riviera GS I have been chasing for a number of years to compliment my ‘71. Now I am trying to round up some missing pieces. Have been doing well so far but need the following: -H70 (long shot but that is the size this particular car had new) or H78-15 unused spare wheel & tire, or just the tire -door edge guards for a boattail -A ‘72 Buick Facts Book -Factory Buick demo 8-track tape -just the trumpet horn from a factory 4-note horn setup I actually have a complete unused ‘72 Riv spare wheel/tire which is currently in the trunk of my ‘71 that I picked up a few years ago, so a ‘71 would work! Then I could just switch the two. I’ll settle for anything from the trunk of an old junked car from those years... ‘71-‘74 ish. Please feel free to call or text me if that’s easier at 1-902-790-9047 or email me at joshnoiles@gmail.com Thanks so much! -Josh Noiles, Riviera Owners Association Member No. 15134
  2. Thanks for tip! Thought I had checked every listing out there. Sadly, we'll never know: car was crushed 2 or 3 weeks ago. Grille was not saved. Thanks for the help, though! I'll continue hunting.
  3. Hey guys! Josh from N.S. Canada here. Any help on how to remove the grille in a '71 Riv? Mine has been cracked, broken and crooked since I bought the car. No luck tracking one down as of yet, so I decided to remove it and take it to a local plastic repair guy. I unbolted the (few) remaining intact studs and figured I could just lift the grille up and out the front of the car, (my bumper is intact in the original style, not split), but it will not come out through that opening! Just wondering if anyone can tell me what is the best piece to take off the front of the Riv so that I can complete this. Rant: Why couldn't they have made this damn thing out of pot metal like the '72? Such a beautiful design made of such terrible material! My only dislike of this entire car! My brother has a 1971 Grand Prix: the grille is made of metal and is as strong as a cow catcher! Have come across a number of '72 grilles and many have asked me why I just don't throw one on... but I am smitten by the look of the '71, and how it's tucked in at the edges is just such a wonderful cue. I know if someone starts repopping these things they are going to have customers. I'd be first in line. Oh and in case you're wondering: If any one has a lead on a '71 grille, I'm desperate, desperate, desperate! Thanks so much guys.
  4. Greetings guys! My name is Josh Noiles and I'm a 25-year-old GM-nut from Nova Scotia, Canada, with a rust free, '71 Riviera in Copper Mist. Saddle interior, bench seat. Not a GS. The car is stock, except for a black accent job on the paint done by the previous (second) owner, which I will eventually be restoring to original .This car is beautiful, and I love taking it to shows, but the grille is cracked and crooked. Is there anyone here who can help me out? Been looking for a grille since I bought it three years ago. It would really complete this otherwise beautiful car, and give it the look it deserves. Also, I've got a '93 Roadmaster sedan daily-driver also riding on the older V2 Chrome Road Wheels (like my Riv), and I'm looking for a set of centers. NOS or mint not needed, just runable with decent mounting tabs. I've got correct "R" caps on my Riv, and have lots extra of those, but don't have any "Buick Motor Division" ones, so those are what I'm looking for. Thank you! :)
