Hi all, Looking to see if anyone has had a bakealite steering wheel restored. I have one that is missing one large section of it. This one is from a 1926 Brockway American Lafrance Fire truck. Any help is appreciated. I already checked with Steering Wheel Bob who says he can not repair it.

I am looking for a base mount 6V generator with mounts out both ends of it. Or possibly a make and model number of a generator that would fit a 1921 WU Buda engine. Engine is in a Brockway chassis American Lafrance fire truck. Please help summers coming and I would love to get it running. For pictures see post in commercial vehicles forum. Thanks!

That is a magneto however it is not correct for the truck as I need one with mechanical timing advance. Thanks Jason

I recently acquired this 1921 American Lafrance Fire truck. It was built on a Brockway chassis with a Buda WU 4 cyl engine. I need to find a generator and a magneto for it. I am working on a 1927 Pirsch Firetruck with a Continental 6B engine. What oil should I use in this engine. It has never been apart and still runs good. I don't want to have any problems with using this newer types of oil. Thanks
