Victory Six generator

Hi,

Your Victory 6 and the Standard 6 engines are identical (except for serial number). The generator is secured with three bolts. Two on top and one on the bottom. You will note there is a spacer between the generator and the engine to which a oil line is fastened. Being very careful to maintain position of that spacer and its proximity to the engine carefully separate between the generator and that spacer. There is a drive pully riding on the front of that spacer so do not let it slide back such as to loosen the chain or engine timing could be compromised. There is a series of blades forming a coupler on the shaft of the generator that projects into a slot in that gear riding on that spacer. After removing the generator replace the bolts through that spacer so as to retain tension on the drive chain. Good Luck.

I hope this helps. Rodger "Dodger" Hartley
