Guest stude8
I am hoping to find a replacement (new or good used) lock cylinder with key to fit a 1931 Studebaker President steering column support that uses the integral Hershey Ignition switch. This lock is 3/4" diameter and 3/4" deep with a 3/8" round extension that actuates the column lock and Hershey switch mechanism. It is a Brass cylinder held in place with a dowelpin in the steering column under dash panel support housing. Please see photo of the lock I need in post under "Main index Buy and Sell". This same lock is used on Commander & President 1928-31. I suspect this device is not specific to Studebaker and maybe common to other cars of this age. Would take a complete column support bracket with lock and switch. Thanks, Stude8 (email direct to "studeracer_37@yahoo.com")
