Tacoma
My "90 (Tan interior) steering wheel is beginning to show a little discoloration (dirt not wear) on the top half of the wheel. Mostly in the area where you hold your hands. I think most of the darker discoloration is from hand dirt, sweat and natural oils, but as it's a convertable, so there could be some UV damage also. As of late I've been using very fine leather driving gloves. I want to show it in Seattle next year and want to get it in the best condition possible. Any suggestions as to the best process to use on this wheel to restore it?

shoreice
You can try some saddle soap or Murphy's Oil Soap to clean the dirt off the leather. The saddle soap will also help soften up the leather where it is getting sun damaged. These are really gentle on the leather also. Will work well on your driving gloves too. Hope this helps, Kenny.
