Aircraftphotos
What's left is at Bodie State Park, Calif.. It has an OHV six cylinder engine. It appears it is a car that has been converted for hauling. I have another photo of the left side of the engine.
Guest stude8
You have uncovered an interesting car, the engine is clearly NOT a Studebaker. Their engines of the period I would guess this car is (1915-1920??) were "L" head types, the cams were located on the right side of engine block and they were direct acting on the valve stem with a cam follower "Lifter" arrangement, no push rod was employed. The engine in your find appears to be a pushrod engine with underlying cam on the3 left side. Stude8
