wheels34 Posted October 14, 2005 Share Posted October 14, 2005 hi i just purchased a1934 dictator ,twin sidemounts .the frame tag is long gone but the firewall tag has aw-2 2550 . the engine no is h50343, can anyone help with info, and how rare are these cars . we haved searched but find very few 34s ??? this is very rusty but near complete thanks , barry . brownie Posted July 29, 2006 Share Posted July 29, 2006 Yea GiddayBrownie here from the Bay of Plenty , NZSaw your pic of the 34 , looks like a great project We have a couple of 34's that are work in progress ( like for the last 10years)both are rh drive one made in canada one in usa and we are attemting to make one out of 2.we do have some extra parts and knowledge that may help ya get yours up and going if any help email us on gpb@jetboatingnz.co.nz or if I don't get back to ya on that one try info@longridgepark.co.nzCheck on the chassis rail behind the rh wheel and that should have the number on it , I have a book here to decode the mystery.These 34's are a bit thin on the ground here in NZ and info on that yearis a tad difficult to source.I have had great help from this forum on various questions Keep studebakeringP.S Have you joined the NZ stude club?????
