56clipper
Quick question for the knowledgeable out there: what is the appropriate diameter for the steel fuel line on a '56 Clipper?
Guest imported_Speedster
The tubing in my '56 is 5/16" outside diameter, so I guess it's 1/4" I. D.It's that size all the way from tank to carb. My car has a 2 barrel Carb, but I doubt they changed the tubing size for a 4 barrel.
Guest imported_Speedster
Now, If you are converting to dual Quads, 3 duces, or some such, I would go for a little larger fuel line. LOL
WCraigH
5/16 OD on my 55 Pat 4bbl also. I'll use 3/8in on my Panther.
