rapairing cracked lead bodywork

After stripping my 36 airstream sedan I found that the 4 corners of the roof are done in lead. The lead is checked and crazed throughout. Is there a modern product I can use to fill the cracks and not have them recrack a year from now. Please do not recommend using more lead. [color:"blue"]

Jax : You'll want to remove all the old lead filler and replace it with a product called dynaglass. I had the priveledge of working with an excellant automotive body restorer who used that product. Stay away from slik and the cheaper fillers. Some of them are even corrosive. Dynaglass is very strong and will flex with the car preventing cracks.

A car as glamorous as yours deserves carefull treatment! I specialize in 1936 vintage chrysler product vehicles.
