Guest
Hi! I just bought 41 coupe, and I have been searching for photographs, technical data, how many built etc. But it seems to be quite difficult, I haven't found more than few lousy pictures.. Is it actually so rare or can't I just look from the right place? I know that it is rare here in Europe... Anyone who has one? Thank, Marko(Finland)
Guest stude8
You might contact Richard Quinn at "rtq11@aol.com" He has an enormous collection of Studebaker factory image negatives and does reproductions on request. There are also books already published with prewar Studebaker models illustrated. The Studebaker National Museum store (South Bend, IN) should be able to supply copies of these photo books http://www.studebakermuseum.org/. Guest
Thanks, Stude8! I checked out Stude museum, and found one interesting book, and other nice items.. I'll might order some stuff from there. It would be great to found someone who has -41(-42) Commander/president, I will probably have many questions in the future concerning my car..Marko
ChampNate
I have a late-year 41 Champion. The body parts manual has some good pictures of both the inside and outside of these cars and the chassis parts manual has VIN and engine block serial number ranges that at least let you guestimate when the car was built. The part number cross-references are very valuable too! Both books are availible as reprints from several of the on-line parts vendors.
