Olds did not put 455 cu. in. engines in the stock Cutlass/4-4-2 until the 1970 model year. The standard 4-4-2 engine was rated at 365 hp. This same engine was available in the Cutlass Supreme as the W-32 option. The 4-4-2 W-30 engine was rated at 370 hp. For the 1971 model year, the compression ratio was lowered to accommodate unleaded gas. 1970 was the only year for a

Cutlass/4-4-2 high compression 455 cu. in. engine.
