FORD MODEL "T" ROADSTER C. 1915 | FOR SALE

Recommended Posts

This circa 1915 Ford Model T roadster was owned by well-known collectors Bill Rader and John Williams who lived in the Los Angeles area. The car was restored by Bill Rader back in the 1970s.
Bill modified this vehicle using period accessories and made appropriate modifications. These modifications include a rare Frontenac cylinder overhead valve conversion. The Frontenac heads were built during the 1920s and were used for Model T racing purposes. The engine has a downdraft Ford carburetor, and a distributor update as well. The rear axle has been fitted with hydraulic brakes. The car has a desirable, period-correct, accessory Buffalo wire wheels with white wall tires.
The car has an original steel body and has three steel fenders and one fiberglass reproduction fender. The paint is older but remains glossy. The upholstery and top are in good condition.
This circa 1915 Model T Ford roadster has been stored indoors on display in the John Williams Collection for the last several years, and is not currently running.

To be sold at auction on September 13, 2024. The auction is located in St. Louis, MO. Bidders welcome in-person, online, as well as phone bidding and absentee.
