Rapier
Good Morning while I have been a correspondent on rge AACA Forum for a great many years this my first venture into rhis section (German) I am interested in finding a Mid 1930's DKW restoration project. Preferably a Drop Head Coupe. I live in Melbourne Australia. But distance would not be a problem for the "right car". Thank you Bernie Jacobson

Rapier
Thank you Demco. This one comes a long way down my "must have list" I remember two or three put putting around Heidelberg, the suburb of Melbourne Victoria Australia, in my youth. It will not worry me too much if I fail to find one. That would have been in the just post WW2 years, i.e. Late 1940s. I have not seen one "in the flesh" for 30 or 40 years. It is simply a thought! Although there must be one or two hiding away in "Back-sheds" somewhere. Bj. Edited October 13, 2023 by Rapier (see edit history)
Rapier
Now some considerable time later I still have had absolutely no replies or contact with any DKW owners. There must be some one out there but they remain elusive. I cannot help but wonder where they all are perhaps all the existing cars are carefully tucked up in European garages and are unlikely to ever see the "light of day" again. Bj.
