Guest
I am in need of information on how to get measurements on the entire body frame parts made of wood. I do not have any of the old wood. Can a Kit be purchased for this car? If so where? If not, any suggestions? Thanks for your time. Arden Peck- 1927 buick 2dr. sedan
Guest
I am not aware of anyone who sells or makes wood kits for Buicks of the 1920s. There simply are not enough of them out there to justify the investment or effort. I think your best bet is to attend the Buick Club's national meet in July, where there will be other cars similar to yours on display. Then, meet the owner, and get his or her permission to measure, draw, photograph, and climb all over their car. I am working on a 1924 Buick 6-cyl. roadster, and my best information has come from similar cars at Buick Club national meets.Pete Phillips, BCA #7338Ector, TX
