Charlie B.
I need a radio for my 90 Coupe. The one in the car won't eject the tapeand if I PUSH THE "fWD" Button it will play for a little while but then starts clicking loudly and cuts out the audio. Other times it just screeches very loud.I just want a radio that will fit and play tapes along with AM & FM stations.also , the CD player now ejects the disc without playing a note. What kind of radio will fit, I have tried the salvage yards and they tell me that nothing will fit. I am about to take a long trip (1850 miles each way. And I would like some music on the trip. (I don't sing that well) Can any one help with some advice??
reattadudes
go to a nearby GM dealer, and find out where the local delco distributor is. they will have many radios available that will fit right in the space, and plug right in with your plugs. I just put in a delco AM/FM with CD in our '90 coupe for $175.
ALF1
Charlie: I have a stock '90 am/fm/cassettee deck which was completely rebuilt by Delco, but has never been re-installed. (Sold the car; the guy was putting in an aftermarket unit.) Paid $150 for the rebuild, plus $20 shipping. If you want it, it's yours for $170 plus postage. Let me know.JerryP.S. Does your CD show the ERROR message before rejecting? If so, heat the CD with a hairdryer or over a lamp bulb, and try it again. Usually works, but scratchy at first. Let it play for awhile; quality gets better. Lack of use is the biggest culprit. Should be played at least once a week.

Guest
Charlie, you need to pull your CD Player and send it in. It needs a new belt and cleaned. Use the search feature and you'll find where to send it. Might as well do it while you've got things apart for the radio.curt
ALF1
Deal. (Don't suppose the three SOLDs were a gentle reminder of the past....)ALFP.S. In previous post, I meant warm the disc itself, not the CD unit.
