FRED Z Posted August 24, 2019 Share Posted August 24, 2019 I am restoring a 1953 Skylark with V8 engine and had the transmission rebuilt, but the rebuilder said he never heard of the new style rear torque seal. I am wondering if I should purchase the new type seal and install it on the rebuilt transmission prior to installing it on the engine? Also where is a good source on this part?
