DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A REBUILD KIT FOR A CARTER BALL & BALL CARB. 6-293 ? Guest Posted September 28, 2002 Share Posted September 28, 2002 I'm not positive but think you ought to have the usual Stewart (Detroit Lubricator) carb on that truck, assuming you have the DB four cylinder engine on it. These are easy to find. Check with the club's tech advisors, however to confirm this. In any case, contact The Carburetor Shop, Eldon, MO, Jon Hardgrove, who just began offering rebuild kits for all DB carburetors. He also can help you decide on whether this carb is correct or not.
