Guest Posted September 4, 2002 Share Posted September 4, 2002 Currently helping a friend work on his 25 -7 Oakland car. I believe it's a 26 but will have serial # in the next post. Currently need a radiator core and tanks. Have a good useable shell. Also would like to correspond with other Oakland owners on small parts and assembly details. Guest c.johnson Posted September 4, 2002 Share Posted September 4, 2002 The best way to determine the year of your car would be to get the serial # (I'm not sure about after '24, but on earlier models it would be on the frame over the passenger side rear axle ) You can go to the local library and check out "75 Years of Pontiac Oakland" by Gunnell (the book is out of print, don't think about buying the book) and compare his published numbers to the number on your car.I can put you in touch with the Oakland Owners Club International (OOCI).
