Patrick W. Brooks Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015 FOR SALE: Rebuilt 6 volt starter which fits 1939, series 40; 1940-1942, series 40 and 50; 1946-1950, series 40 and 50. This was taken off a 1949 Buick and professionally rebuilt. It has never been on a car since and I equipped it with a 12 volt solenoid and carried in a 1949 Buick which I had changed to a 12 volt.
