This NOS, still in the box unit, consists of a solenoid by-pass valve that is added to the power steering hydralic system to permit instant shut-off of power steering assistance, for comparison purposes in making demonstrations. It is controlled by a switch mounted on the instrument panel. Included are the necessary hoses, wiring, valve mounting bracket, bolts and a switch-mounted signal lamp that lights when power steering is shut off. For Pontiac straight 8 engines only.
