Guest valleyjim Posted May 3, 2013 Share Posted May 3, 2013 I sent the steering gear box in my 1936 Buick Special coupe for rebuilding, twice, and the steering wheel sticks (won't return to center on its own) on left turns. On right turns, the wheel returns to center on its own. All other steering parts and components have been checked or replaced, and 2 mechanics confirm that the problem is in the steering box.
