mannemerjung
Hi everyone,my name is Alexander - I am from Germany and own a '69 Riviera that in 2011 took me about 6.000 miles through the states. Initially I wanted to sell the car at the end of my road trip but I somehow fell in love and had it shipped to Germany. Now, the car is up for restoration and one of the most significant parts that it needs is a replacement grill. At some point of its life, the Buick inhaled a bird or two and lost some teeth:Since the whole frame of the grill is broken and more than one mount is missing, I have to call it "beyond repair". Can anyone help? I am trying to keep the Riv as original as possible - found the correct antique gold vinyl, original trim parts, center hub caps, side marker lenses, etc., etc. but had no luck with the grill so far. At this point I would even consider a '68 grill.Every tip, feedback and offer is highly appreciated! Thanks,Alexander
