I am thinking about purchasing the above mentioned car. It is in seemingly excellent shape. Color is turqoise; (not factory correct?) Interior is restored in cream color leather (not factory correct). Top is fair with incorrect rear window; bows are in good shape Plating, tires, mechanicals are all very good and correct for car (I think). What should I be offering for this car

Be very carefull of this purchase. I owned a TC and it was a nightmare of rotted wood under a seamingly nice body. Virtually everything needed rebuilding. The correct engine will have an XPAG prefix. This is the most valuable item along with the transmission. The cranks are prone to cracks. The definative book on this car is TC'S FOREVER and is available at Moss Motors. A good runner will cost 10k or more. I sold mine a few years ago for $7500 as a complete but disassembled vehicle. I trully love those cars but ended up with a TD because it is much more roadworthy. Good luck, Dave Nieuwstad
