I recently purchased a 1964 Buick LeSabre, model 4439. However, I do not have the data to decode the rest of the I.D. plate. Can anyone help? Boy: FB1829, Trim: 402 WW, Paint: has a star next to it, Acc: W-2AJ-4FW-5Z. I do know it's a 4-door hardtop. I appreciate any input from fellow BCA members.
Thanks,
Matt BCA # 31827
mslitwin@msn.com
confused.gif" border="0

Matt, I have a few bits of info for you.
BODY FB is a Flint produced car, 1829 is the production sequence. TRIM 402 is silver cloth and vinyl interior trim. PAINT WW is Diplomat blue top and bottom. I do not know what the star dentoes, though I would like to know as a few of my 64s have that too. I also do not know the breakdown of the ACC codes, but I believe someone would. Hope this helps, Matt.
