Need 62 Buick Invicta Convertible Top Manual

I am looking for the Convertible Top Manual for a 1962 Buick Invicta. Doesn't have to be the original, a photocopy would work just as well. We recently purchased this car and that was the only manual missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Need to see why the top isn't working as the motor and the top were recently replaced prior to our purshasing it.

The book you may actually be looking for in order to do diagnostic/repair work is the Body Service Manual (if they published one in 1962). It has all of the info on troubleshooting, adjusting, and rebuilding a folding top.
GM top manuals pop up on eBay all the time for ~$15. Many of them are offered by:
WALTER MILLER
6710 Brooklawn Pkwy.
Syracuse, NY 13211 USA
Phone: (315) 432-8282
FAX: (315) 432-8256
info@autolit.com
Note: there are usually separate manuals for the manual and power tops.
I've got a 63 convertible. All of the following information is predicated on the possibly incorrect assumption that the top mechanisms are similar.
If the motor doesn't run, make sure it's getting power and that there's a good connection to the wiring harness. If there's no power, check the top switch and the circuit breaker which is mounted (I think) behind the left kick panel. If you do get power, try tapping the motor with a hammer. The motors tend to leak internally. When they do, the brake fluid will gunk up inside the motor.
If the motor runs but the top doesn't move, you may be low on fluid. Fill the fluid reservoir and run the top up and down a few times using manual assist as necessary. Repeat until the bubbles are gone from the lines and the top operates smoothly.
