Guest M R Simpers Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 Does anyone know of a source of axle shims for a 1927 DB Series 124.Measuring the end of the axle leads me to believe that the inner OD is 1.47" tapering in 3 inches to an outer OD of 1.19".They should look like the attached photo of a smaller Model "A" Ford axle shim.I could always find a thin piece of stainless and make one, but a formed shim would surely work better.What say?M.R.
