gsparts Posted February 7, 2002 Share Posted February 7, 2002 I go to the parts store and buy a sending unit for a mid 80's chevy truck with guage. Works fine. Was told to use this by a guy that restores these cars. Now this is on a 70-72 gs with factory guages. Plus it's cheap. Guest Posted February 9, 2002 Share Posted February 9, 2002 Yes, I know about that trick. The only problem is that the Chevy unit is calibrated 0-60 lbs. and the Buick unit is 0-80 lbs. pressure. I would prefer a Buick unit. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
