More n the DA pump

Some preliminary pics. Sorry for the fuzzy one. Look to the right side of the other pump picture and you will see the ground away part of the impeller. Hopefully I will get started soon. The picture of the bushing is very telling. This is ALL I could find of the bushing. So basically the oil I put in just lubed the inside of the pulley. Wish I could post "lol", but I can't. No laughs here. Seems I should have heard the noise but I did not.

I will bet that someone in the past rebuilt this pump install a new bushing BUT didn't drill out the bushing for the oil to lub the shaft.

Vern, no bet on that. Although less than half the bushing remains, in other words holes could be in what isn't there, I think you are correct. Doug
