Guest M R Simpers Posted March 12, 2011 Share Posted March 12, 2011 For a year and a half now I have been going through the drive train of my '27 DB.When I pulled the generator, I removed the adjustment plate the separates the generator from the timing chain housing. When I did that the gear that rides on this plate dropped. I said a few words that Mama wouldn't appreciate. As a result, I've been very careful not to turn over the motor, and this gear remains in its original position on the timing chain.The question now is, how do I grab hold of this gear and feed it into the generator adjustment plate?
