Cleaning out the few things I have left.
1] Early thirties dealer sign, custom made for Buick dealer in Hamburg NY for blue glass front of building. All Stainless steel, with blue glass backing, approx 2 feet square. Script "Buick" inside rectangle duplicating headlite tie bar emblem from earlier Buicks. "Valve in head & motor cars" in perimeter. Unique; I bought it from building owner when he converted the building, after dealer had moved in about 1975.
2] Buick dealer shop wall clock, logo used 1938 through the early 50's; neon works, logo faded and had been repainted. Red ball in center, "Authorized Buick valve in head service", approx 20", round. I obtained from Buick dealer in Monmouth IL about 1969.
3] Paper weight, plastic, duplicates steering wheel center emblem from 1953, approx. 4" diameter, felt backed. From Buick dealer, Rumford ME, about 1975.
4] Tie clasp, brass with tri shield, 1970's.
5] Seven off-white coffee cups, early Buick script in blue as above, from dealer incentives catalog about 1980.
6} Hard bound booklet apparently from the teens, issued from the Buick factory in Flint to G.B. Treon, who was the Buick dealer in Berwick PA during his visit. About 6"x9", 20 pages.
Hank Bates, pmcfadden@earthlink.net; Eastern Massachusetts
[*]null
