Guest
hello,
is the motor in full working condition? Do you think it's going to fit my 73 riv? How much ?
thanks
Gedas
Guest
The power window motor from any (full size for sure, I've never had mid or small) GM's will fit from at least 1970 to 1977. What you have to watch is that some motors are mounted with the gear facing out and some with the gear facing into the car. This means that a LH (stamped on the case) motor may be for the right side of the car and vice versa.
BTW, have you checked the switch? Disconnect the switch from the wiring harness plug on the back, take a piece of wire, put one end into the hole with the power and put the other end into one of the other two holes that take the window up or down.
[ 08-22-2001: Message edited by: Boat Slip ]
