Guest John Chapman
Posted from the General Section in case you don't go there:
I received a call this morning from the owner of a '48 Super Sedanett fastback that was destroyed in a trailering accident here in San Diego. He wants the running gear/salvageable parts to go to a good home... at no cost.
The car was an operational, road worthy and low milage driver/restoration project prepared for painting. Owner stated that the only body parts not damaged in the roll-over were the trunk lid and some rear trim. Interior parts are good except for steering wheel. Owner reports no floor pan, trunk or body rust except for rear valance panel below trunk lid.
If you are interested in the car, I can arrange to take digital photos. To see the car, the towing company requires permission from the owner.
Owner is in Oregon, Buick remains are in San Diego.
