Guest
Can somebody help me find a restorable 1960 convertible? I have several cars, or cash to trade. Please no show pieces unless you are willing to trade. Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Dave
110037.112@compuserve.com

Guest 70 Electra
Sure, there are lots of them! (Well, RELATIVELY speaking)
Look in Hemmings Motor News (hardcopy or on-line)---there's usually several. Chicago Auto exchange currently has a couple, and Volo auto museum has Wally Rank's car for sale. Plus, many found on-line in the "auto trader" type sites.
Last month's Hemmings had a nice sounding 60K "original" car in PA for around $14000, if I recall correctly. Also, one recently sold on eBay that looked like it may have been one of the nicest ones around!
If your preference or budget dictates one that "needs restoration", there's a cheap Invicta convertible in this month's (July) Hemmings for about $3500.
Doesn't seem that they're hard to find at all!
