Dear Brittany:

On your car in various places you will find numbers. On the door post is a plate with an 8 digit number. That's called the "Frame Number". On the side of the engine just behind the distributor is a small machined ledge with another 8 digit number on it. That's called the "Engine Number". On the firewall under the hood on the right side of the car is a "Body Plate" with a whole bunch of numbers.

If you post here the "frame number", the "engine number", the "paint code" and the "trim code", I can tell you where and when your Buick was built, what color it was originally, and what interior trim it had in it.
