charlie1
Anyone with a low mileage Classic car may want to run it through the Carfax data base to insure records are correct. Just found a error on our LOW mileage 1991 Skylark where the dealer made a mistake the last time it was in for state inspection. This could decrease the value of you car or just make it a hassle when you sell it or file a claim with your insurance company. Guest mhuffy
Is there a way to correct it or is the car tagged for ever?
charlie1
I have contacted Carfax and hope to be completing the necessary forms soon.As a tip I would suggest that whenever you take your car in for service be sure and check mileage the dealer puts on the workorder.Seems a lot of dealers transmit a lot of information to Carfax including some of the work done on the car.
