Updating brakes for a Big Six?

So, with some help from the board it has been concluded that the remains I have are in fact from a '20/'21 Big Six.

My next concern is braking. I am planning on building a speedster body based upon the cowl section, and I would like to run some "modern" wheels/brakes/hubs/spindles. I want to run Kelsey-Hayes, or something similiar.

Any suggestions for a hydraulic brake conversion on these early Studebakers?

How about spindles, are there any known swaps?
