Guest imported_Bill-W Posted June 13, 2008 Share Posted June 13, 2008 The 1949 DeSoto and Chrysler Royal/Windsor were on a 125½" wheelbase, two inches more than the Dodge Meadowbrook/Coronet/(Custom in Canada). The 2" difference was all in the front clip ahead of the firewall.One bit of good news, though. Except for the 1949-52 wagons, all 6-cylinder 1949-52 Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto and Chrysler models gas tanks interchange. BillVancouver, BC Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
