jalopynut
Hi! New member working on a restoration of a 1927 Buick Master and needing parts to finish. Anyone have information on where I can get the heat riser set up? I believe that 26 and 27 are the same. If there is a complete engine for sale I would consider that as well. Don't know where else to go for this and someone recommended that I try this forum. Thanks for any help!Jim
Guest imported_Thriller
Welcome to the forums. There are a few folks here who should be able to help you technically (I haven't begun to dig into my '29 yet, so I won't pretend to be an expert). What model is it that you are working on? jalopynut
Model 27-54 in generally good shape. Unfortunately it sat for a long time. Stuck engine and you can imagine what else. the heat riser, exhaust valve are the two critical pieces to find. The rust worm ate them up for some reason while the rest of the engine was in good shape.Jim
