Guest Darryl
I have a 23-4-35 Buick. When the engine warms up it idles at a high RPM making it difficult to shift. It has an electric fuel pump with a regulator. The idle return spring is okay and the idle adjustment is set correctly. Any ideas? Bad fuel regulator? Guest Darryl
The problem was the linkage from the carburetor to the exaust. The set screw that adjust this linkage was slippingpreventing the carburetor from returning to an idle.
