I found this 5-3/8” x 3-15/16” color and black-and-white sixteen-page brochure dated September, 1954.  It states that “What Air Liners do in Air, Buick Now does in Oil,” and describes the 1955’s new features with “Performance beyond that of any automatic driving you ever tried.”  No dogears.  Text is entirely legible but covers have stains.  An approximately 1/4” stain bleeds from the rear cover to the inner margin of page fourteen.  Front cover is stamped "Schott Lippert Buick, Inc., 4301 Main Ave., Norwood, Cincinnati 12, Ohio Phone REdwood 9000" and has an approximately 1/4" tear.  I am turning to the members of this organization for their advice regarding its worth.  Located in North Carolina.  Thank you.

  2. Hello all,

I'm a retired Asheville, NC firefighter doing some history work. I'm told the attached photo on the right is a Buick. If so, can you please tell me the year and model? If it's not a Buick, can you tell me what it is, likewise the car on the left? The same chief - who volunteered before signing on as paid April 1, 1924, and who served 38 years, is shown in each photo. And the station shown - built in 1924 - is still HQ today. I walked where he walked, but with far fewer bugles. Sorry for the vertical pix. They started out horizontal. Thanks for the help.
