1965 Exhaust and vinyl top in Buick Riviera Posted May 13, 2007 Hi, just came in from trying to fit a new exhaust on my 65, going stock as the one that was fitted was an after market with twin silencers.can any one tell me a couple of points,1. How close should the front pipe run parallel to the brake pipe going to the rear brakes? (if to close could it heat the brake fluid)2. I take it the exhaust pipe that goes over the axle is basically in the rear wheel arches? (tyre side of coils and shock absorber)3. again what's the normal clearance of these pipes to the rear tyre? The manual doesn't show much Any other advice welcome. Also has any one got the vinyl roof chrome trims for sale? Thanks in advance.Steve..#7029

2. I take it the exhaust pipe that goes over the axle is basically in the rear wheel arches? (tyre side of coils and shock absorber)
3. again what's the normal clearance of these pipes to the rear tyre?
The manual doesn't show much
Any other advice welcome.
Also has any one got the vinyl roof chrome trims for sale?
