  1. Hello, I was so nice to meet you guys, last weekend. We had a good time, and enjoyed chatting with you a the banquet table. Hope your trip home was safe. Keep in touch, and take care. Bruce and Charlene Cedar Falls, Ia. 1966 Buick Special
  2. Look, great. I can't wait to see it in Rochester.
  3. Hello, we are looking for a am/fm cd player for our 66 Special. Any leads ?
  4. Have fun on the trip and don't worry. I sure that you will be surprised when you return. I will look forward to the next update. Have a good time.
  5. Ok, just wanted to know how many cars you plan on bringing to Rochester ? I see that you have many cars, but I take it that only 2 are in running condition. How are you coming ? Hope to look you up in Rochester.
  6. Thanks, Yes we keep the orginal rims and hub caps.
  7. Sounds like a plan. I hope that when you head south, you don't do it alone, and have your cell phone with you. And the timing should be right. Are you going thru the Twin Cities, Minnieaplois , St Paul ? When I travel up to Brainerd, I always time ourselves, so we can make through there in the wee morning hours. to avoid all the traffic. I just made our reservation, for the motel room yesterday. We are getting excited about seeing all the neat cars, and talking to alot of interesting people. And learning alot of new stuff.
  8. Do you have your Wildcat painted yet ? Last time I read one of post it was still in the body shop.
  9. This is the way we brought it home.
  10. This is our Buick Special Deluxe
  11. Just putting some pictures out there of our 1966 Buick Special. This was my dad's car, and my husband helped him restore about 10 years ago. Well 3 yrs ago, just before my dad turned 90, he just up and gave the car to me and my husband. He can't drive anymore and still is good health, but wanted us to enjoy. And we have. We kept it pretty stock. One thing that we did change was the rims. when we 1st got it , it had the stock rims and tires. We put on American Racing rims, Hopbsters (spelling ?) and 15 inch tires. it really dressed it up. We have taken it to many small town car shows and have received many awards and trophies with it. But it is not all about the trophies, and awards, it is just getting out and enjoying other people with their cars, too. We are only 2 hours away from Rochester, Mn. and plan on attending the BCA National Show. Don't know what expect, but we are going to have a good time and see other people projects.
  12. Hello, Just been reading all of your post. And I can't help but ask , are you still going to the Rochester Mn, show in July ????
