Damien,
I live in Australia also, if you do succeed in friegting the engine over to Aus and only need block and internals, I am looking for external parts for my resto project,
which could ease the cost of it for you. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Steve, here is a photo of the throw out bearing which is not really a bearing at all, it is a graphite bush, unique to the 53 and GL stude.
The other photo is of the inside of the head light, the reflector is held in with 2 screws at the front and a screw at the rear which acts as the adjuster, the outer rim is only held on by clipping it over the headlight body at the top and 1 screw at the bottom.
I have seen the other photos of your car WOW what a find, excellant original car.

Hi everyone, I am looking for a radiator badge for a 1930 Erskine, different to the round badges on the earlier models. The 1930 had a rectangle shape to it.
Any help would be great.

Hello, can anyone help me to find a LHR tail light bracket and tail light for a 1930 Erskine or Model 53 (bracket is held on with 2 bolts which clamps over the rear bumper bracket at the end of the chassis rail), also looking for a cowl light lense(or a pair) I am in Australia and being one car out of 4 in Aus makes finding parts very hard. Does anyone know the original type of horn used on top of the engine, will be a Delco , but which type? Thanks

I own a 1928 fast four budd body sedan way over here in Australia, which is a rare car here due to import costs of the times. I am in desperate need for some help to locate some parts such as a windsreen frame, wiper motor, RHF & RHR window winder mechanisms, RHF door latch and lock assembly, LHF & RHR inner garnish trims (steel trims that fit around window opening on inside), any inside or outside door handles, LHR tail light bracket, fuel gauge, gas cap. Any help or leads would be great.
