I'm converting the old girl to power steering and need some help. I have a box and colum out of a 53 and have that all sorted now I need to figure out a pump. The problem I have is that I need another pulley to run the pump. I know buick had this as an option but I'm not sure how the took the power off of the engine. Any help would be apreciated.

Thanks for the info and the cool Dual carb link. These cars were defenatly ahead of there time that is exactly why, dipite all of the ribbing I have got from my bowtie bozo budies I just can't bare to ditch that cool big long straight eight.

I am looking for a performance cam for the 320ci straight eight in my 1950 Roadmaster. I have read in some old maggazine articles that Isky made one but can't find them today. I would be OK with a regrinde also. I just need a little more flow I am running Dual carbs and exaust.

I am restoring a 1950 Roadmaster and also doing a mild hot rod but can't bare to get rid of the cool old straigt eight. I found a set of the old dual manifolds from a 47 Whithch make dual exaust and dual carb a reality. On my car I simply cut down the factory engine mount off of the frame and flip the mount on the engine unside down. With that and a good exaust man is is possible. I have some pics of the mount I maid if interested let me know. PS old ford Holley bolt right on to the twin intake manifold and realy wake up these old cars.
